There was a solar eclipse earlier today from the Far East, Asia to the Middle East where thousands  of people saw the birth of the moon (New Moon Conjunction) with the human eye, which means the moon is in the invisible phase (mahaq) so it cannot be seen anywhere in the same evening. The makers of the Saudi Ummul Qura calendar (KACST) also state it doesn't match the visibility of the moon, so we humbly advise all the UK mosque calendar makers to use a predicted visibility (Imkan Al-Ruyat) based calendar instead (to avoid potential conflicts with planning for Ramadan/Eid). JazakAllah".
