We know many of them through our ICOP network (www.astronomycenter.net) who use CCD imaging cameras to detect the invisible moon [during daylight in Infra-Red wavelength]. Our UK ulama only consider verified moon sighting with the human eye (Muhaqaqh Ruyat Basari) after our own sunset [in visible light wavelength] from the UK (to Morocco) Region only.
Note that Saudi Arabia normally announce the start of Ramadan on their SPA (www.spa.gov.sa) website.
